Awful story which has very little to do with Christmas. Obviously it was just a cash in on the unnecessary franchise. The characters are not good, and the plot is ridiculous. Very slow and uninteresting, the only redeeming thing about it are some of the effects.

The only reason this film is great is becuase of Clint Howard. His part in the film is perfect.

A lot of bugs and eels and slimey things. It does have Clint Howard though.

The atmosphere is so pervasively "low budget L.A." that it never ceases to feel like the exact thing it is, a chintzy DTV movie.
