Never saw the original...but let me tell you this 2010 version is SICK!!! OMG OMG OMG SICK!!! First of all why Lordy why can't people stay out of the woods especially when you're alone? These stupid jerks truly messed with the wrong chick because she truly brings the pain! WOW!!!!!!!

The best example of why films should be remade. Faithfully takes the essence of the original and adds depth, real emotion, and intensity. Characters are fleshed out (as far as possible for rapists) and Jennifer is redrawn as a stronger, more modern woman - one who doesn't need to use her feminine wiles to seduce her rapists into a position where she can kill them, as was the irritating case of the original.

oh my god. It was a remake, I know, but I loved it. It was extremely creepy, from the first frame. The star, Jennifer, is soo great in this role. She's so raw. The movie is raw. If you're a softie and easily get scared of scaary movies, you will bi sickened to your stomach by this one. I don't recomend it to you people. sensitive viewers, be warned! gross, great movie. I had nightmares. really bad ones.

You all seriously need to watch this film. Not only is the girl who gets revenge really good looking but she really does get the yokels back. Loved it.
