before sound there was Brooks!! without a doubt one of the best silent performance by a actress. Perfect direction, excellent story, and just a standout performance by the gorgeous and oh so talented Louise brooks. if i had to Recommend a silent picture, this is the film i would show, its just amazing, the last scene with Jack the Ripper, it breaks my heart..
