For all the Akshay Kumar fans, Holiday is a treat and this movie is bit different from the other run of the mill movies. What makes this movie unique is the way director tackled the issue of terrorism in a very smart manner. Songs are catchy, and locations are nice. The movie keep on the edge of your seat at all time never a dull moment. A must watch.

An outstanding movie. Touch of Kollywood in it from A.R. Murugadoss; positively lacks the dilution of the movie by the "masala" filled in the Bollywood movies of today. Great acting by Akshay Kumar. Very good story and well developed plot. Bollywood today needs more movies like this one.

Previously paired in 'Rowdy Rathore' Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha light up the screen once again in the movie 'Holiday : A soldier is never off duty' With supporting cast in Sumeet Raghavan and Freddy Daruwalla the movie delivers an extra tadka of action, thriller and romance. Pritam delivers a hit among the songs, with pacy numbers like 'Tu hi toh hain' and 'Blame it on the night.' Holiday is a must watch for all movie enthusiasts, as the movie captivates you from the first shot till the credit roll. Also, don't forget to cheer the special guest appearance

I'd have to say the best film of the year thus far

Only in India can a movie start as a cute romantic comedy, only to be interrupted by a hard ass counter terrorism drama/John Woo-eque action film, which sporadically resumes and departs, so that our hero can get back to cutting off the pinky fingers of the bad guys BEFORE he interrogates them.. Also: Song and dance numbers - now with auto tune (but some how less annoying in Hindi).
