10.7/10* Wow, really wow. This movie was good. I have to admit I've never really been a fan of Horror movies, as almost all of the time, I find myself laughing, and almost never getting scared. I'd have to say this was the first movie, in at least 10 years, to have me get scared a bit. It may have helped that I watched this in the middle of the night with all the lights off, but there were certainly a few spots in the movie that had the hairs on my neck standing up. Very good plot, good actors, and it's tough to find good child actors, and these kids were perfect. The sound mixing was also really good and helped bring out the spookiness of the film. I recommend this film to anyone, regardless of whether you enjoy horror movies or not. Great movie. * I tend to rate movies higher than most people (sometimes even going over 10/10), simply because I tend to enjoy movies more often than others. To help put my rating in perspective, this movie scored better than approximately 92% of the movies I have reviewed since joining this site.

It is like the sixth sense.however it is creepier and more atmospheric, Nicole Kidman's performance is fantastic as " an overprotected mother" . Amenabar knows how to build up the tension and shock the audience.
