Great movie, insights to the wonderful Morocco, very different to other Kate Winslet roles, kids are great little actresses too!

MacKinnon draws terrific performances from all involved (Winslet bravely refusing to court our sympathies), lets character, mood and meaning take precedence over story, and assembles a great music track as a bonus. Spot on.

Really great tale of an impetuous young woman who seeks inner truth abroad. It manages to both condemn and condone her running around Marrakesh with her young daughters, and Winslet totally commits to this woman, clearly portraying her impulsive irresponsibility and her passion for life and love.
