A haunting exploration into men's minds that becomes too much of a psychological study to qualify as accessible entertainment for most.

80 minutes of just spewing the monologues of David Foster Wallace's book. It's hard to adapt a book like that in story form. When doing so, the movie seems to be all over the place, it's on the brink of non-coherent non-linear story structure, and that's where the frustration in this movie lies. I can see what first time director, John Krasinski, was trying to do, but I just think this is too much of material to handle to make into your first feature film. That said, I still think the collection of actors participating in this film were excellent, and also quite amusing.

Surprisingly profound after reading the title. I absolutely loved John Krasinski's speech in the last scene. Great directorial debut John!

The film is intelligent, well crafted and often funny, but it may not sufficiently reward even the brief time it asks one to spend with such hideous men.

John Krasinski's directorial debut is a little hard to follow at times but, its dark view on the male psyche will deliver a lot of laughs.
