Heavy Metal 2000 (2000)

Upon discovery of a shard of what could be the Loc-Nar, a miner named Tyler becomes possessed with an insatiable hunger for power and a thirst for immortality. On his way to the planet of youth, Tyler wipes out most of a space colony and kidnaps a beautiful young woman. His only mistake is that he doesn't kill her sister, Julie, who then sets out on a mission of rescue and revenge.

This one completely destroyed the first movie. The storyline and action is awesome!

These types of movie are best viewed late at night and tired. I saw this movie for the first time when i was awake at 3 am and on pain medication for my knee. It was surprisingly gory and entertaining.

This isn't Heavy Metal... this is some Titan A.E. bullshit. The music sucks, the animation isn't as cool... the plot is terrible. You are better off just watching the original again.
