Heavy Metal 2000 (2000)

Upon discovery of a shard of what could be the Loc-Nar, a miner named Tyler becomes possessed with an insatiable hunger for power and a thirst for immortality. On his way to the planet of youth, Tyler wipes out most of a space colony and kidnaps a beautiful young woman. His only mistake is that he doesn't kill her sister, Julie, who then sets out on a mission of rescue and revenge.

I wonder who owed Julie Strain enough to make an entire animated movie about her. Heavy Metal was better as an anthology.

Well, it's know regular Heavy Metal, but I'll take it anyway. New age 'rock' and another winner takes all story. Pretty good actually, even though it's one story with female controllingness it's still a mans movie. Those who liked the first are likely to enjoy it, those who have no idea what's going on, you can still enjoy it, and many more will love it. Enjoy.
