I love this version of Hamlet. A number of cuts have been made and some scenes added. However, this version works for teaching high school. My kids were into it!

A pity time constraints restricted this film so much, though having seen the full play only once and never having read it, i didn't miss much. Beautiful costumes and good acting. I wish there could have been more of Laertes, but the fault in that lies as much with Shakespeare as this film.
