"We will never dance again"...Esta peli es muy alegorica, es la ultima danza de Fellini como director donde se reune con sus actores protagonicos de toda la vida.

When, as happens on several occasions, Amelia and Pippo become an integral part of the impressionistic film that surrounds them, instead of just being witnesses to it, Ginger and Fred ranks with the best work Mr. Fellini has ever done.

Quizas con el tiempo se ha convertido en mi pelicula favorita de Fellini, una pelicula subvalorada porque aun hoy en dia parece adelantada a su tiempo, se adelanto por 2 decadas al fenomeno de la "reality tv" y el materialismo del siglo 21, es ademas un sentido tributo a la nostalgia, aqui Fellini junta a sus 2 mas grandes estrellas, Mastroianni esta excelente como el viejo casanova Fred, pero como en muchas otras ocasiones anteriores, es Giulietta Masina que nos roba el corazon

The film isn't a particularly pleasurable experience (the satire of television is broad and wayward, and the attempts to wring pathos from Ginger and Fred's geriatric infirmities fall far short of the mark), but it does have a cranky, old-man's integrity.
