Chili Palmer is a Miami mobster who gets sent to L.A. to collect a bad debt from Harry Zimm, a Hollywood producer who specializes in cheesy horror films. When Chili meets Harry's leading lady, the romantic sparks fly. After pitching his own life story as a movie idea, Chili learns that being a mobster and being a Hollywood producer really aren't all that different.

This movie is the reason I'm so cool. Perfect acting from everyone involved, especially Delroy, Travolta and Gene.

I first saw this when i was ten years old, and thought it was funny and brilliant then. As i have gotten older and have widened my knowledge of film history, so has my appreciation of this film endured and grown. Outstanding and if i may say so... classy

Witty and funny. Brilliant acting by Travolta. I have a new respect for Travolta...I'm sure this was his hayday. Wonderful black comedy about Hollywood.

One of the best soundtracks. Ever. This is a dvd that I put on sometimes just for the witty background dialogue and the music. Pre-Sopranos James Gandolfini shows his sweeter side as Bear, a stuntman loyal to his family and with his own twisted morality (sound familiar?). Rene Russo is not only beautiful but dead on funny. This is a movie that doesn't go stale.
