Cute, funny and gay! Though it doesn't really have much to do with Gaudi other than his architecture being the backdrop for the film, unfortunately, but still a fun movie.

With a lovably quirky script, lovely production values and delightful performances by a strong cast, Gaudi Afternoon is Seidelman's best film yet.

Marcia Gay Harden makes for a hot transsexual.

Maitland McDonagh 20 Mar 2003

The offbeat cast and gorgeous Barcelona locations can't quite make up for the thinness of the mystery and forced quirkiness of the characters and their tangled relationships.

The scenery is beautiful, the music is great, but the story never actually manage to move me.
