One of the best hindi movies I have ever seen Fantastic performances by Manoj Bajpayee, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Tigmanshu Dhulia The direction by Anurag Kashyap is also brilliant The writing is at its best! India should have sent this movie as their representative in the Academy Awards Best Foreign Category instead of the overrated Barfi

Mr. kashyap latest outings into film directing are once again epic and breath taking...........gangs of wasseypur could be compared to the godfather with regards to some aspects , but things are really messy here and thats the difference........ where in the godfather there is much sophistication to their method and violence...... wasseypur is a free-for-all stab fest ,with raw emotions overruling any kind of logic or thought ........... manoj bajpai, richa chadda and the rest of the cast do a marvelous job here , especially bajpai, but one cannot expect anything else from him .......... this movie is a prime example of what bollywood should be like .......... more focus on acting and plot and less on other nonsense .......... all in all 4 outta 5

Reminiscent of Quentin Tarantino's style of raw classics. Kashyap made his point very clear and he is at his RAW best.

A near perfect movie. Sarkar, Company, Aab Tak Chappan, Shootout at Lokhandwala and all those gangster movie on one side, and this on the other. Not to mention which side of the scale still feels high. Intense, humorous, captivating... what more do you want from a movie. Hats off Anurag Kashyap!!!
