This was a great movie. Alike some of Mann's other movies, Heat is well acted from it's cast and had awesome directing from the start. De Niro and the rest of the cast are solid and I love Al Pacino. While it's insanely long, I liked the music score and the movie never gets boring or too slow for 171 minutes. Loved the ending.

This is just a fast-paced action thriller that hits the ground running,Al Pacino, Robert De Niro, Val Kilmer, & Tom Sizemore are just a few of the big names in this heist thriller. De Niro plays Neil McCauley, the head of a heist crew that takes high stakes jobs with big payoff, working completely in synch with each other they are the best at what they do. But when one job goes south due to a new guy who gets trigger happy during a armored car heist, they find themselves evenly matched against homicide detective Vincent Hanna (Al Pacino) and his task force.
