I really don't get the hate. It's such an iconic horror movie, Especially in the slasher genre. This is and will always be a template for any other film in that genre.

Crystal Lake's history of murder doesn't deter counselors from setting up a summer camp in the woodsy area. Superstitious locals warn against it, but the fresh-faced young people -- Jack (Kevin Bacon), Alice (Adrienne King), Bill (Harry Crosby), Marcie (Jeannine Taylor) and Ned (Mark Nelson) -- pay little heed to the old-timers. Then they find themselves stalked by a brutal killer. As they're slashed, shot and stabbed, the counselors struggle to stay alive against a merciless opponent.

بالتأكيد لا يمكن أن نتحدث عن الفيلم كأول شكل من سلسلة لاحقة، على أنه فيلم عظيم أو يمكن مقارنته بالأفلام الضخمة إن كان بمستواها الفكري أو الثقافي أو حتى بالمعيار السينمائي كأدوات، لكن بالمقابل لا يمكن لنا إلا أن نعترف بأن الجمعة 13 كأول فيلم ظهر قبل أربعين عام تقريباً، ضمن أشكال أفلام الرعب كان مميزاً بأسلوبه وأدواته، وبطبيعة الحال السينما تخضع لفترتها الزمنية، ورغم مرور هذا الزمن عليه، ما زالت النسخة الأولى لليوم من الفيلم تحتفظ ببريقها في ذاكرة الناس، وهذه بالطبع ليست أمراً عابراً أعتقد أن الفيلم جيد رغم مرور هذا الزمن عليه Expand

Friday the 13th is neither tense nor frightening (although, to be fair, it is at times creepy and atmospheric, due in part to budgetary limitations that led to a low-key style).

Esta película hay que verla con la mente abierta, no tanto con lo técnico o lo cinematográfico sino disfrutar del gore y la revolución que trajo los efectos especiales del aclamado Tom Sabino, disfrutar de la icónica banda sonora de Harry manfredini o la atmósfera espeluznante que está te puede llegar a generar, y no estar tan centrado en lo malo, porque obviamente la película no es perfecta. Tiene relleno y se nota la serie B que trae y las actuaciones poco creíbles de los actores. Pero si dejas atrás todos esos puntos bajos y disfrutas de los efectos especiales y la música, te aseguro que como visualizador de películas horror slasher ochentera, te lo pasarás muy bien y un rato entretenido.
