THE BEST "FRIDAY THE 13TH" YET!!!

As a huge fan of the Original (#2 IMO) and the franchise in general, this is one of my favorite remakes. The additional character details they develop with Jason, specifically his ability to RUN after you (AHH!), and the shrine to his mother add some depth I wasn't expecting. The acting is passable, the kill scenes are brutal and the brooding "behind you" scenes are campy (pun intended) but it's everything you'd expect from a F13.

Albeit nothing new is brought to the series, but this remake introduces a fast, strong and lethal Jason and a array of gory and awesome kills.

Make a summarize of the story from all original Friday the 13th's parts into a whole story inside the movie. It's actually clear how that Jason become serial killer all because of one of counselors was kill his mom. His anger is killing the people. Jason Voorhees is still legend!

Mixing up the first four original films works well in creating an interesting remake. People talking about desecration of the franchise must have watched a different movie.
