A terrific directorial debut to Christopher Nolan's career!!

This is a superb film. It shot in black and white and does not play chronologically. This film makes clear that Christopher Nolan is best when writing and directing. It is a great twisting thriller but because the temporal order of the film is shifted around it makes it even more interesting. For a film of such a small budget and with no famous actors this is so good. It is short film but completely surprising full of mystery and twists and certainly great to watch. The score from David Julyan is also excellent very atmospheric and has a high quality. In conclusion I have to say that Christopher Nolan is the most talented director of recent times.

Nolan presents us with his debut film masterpiece! Despite its length and budget it manages to be one of the greatest in the geanra thanks to unforgetable performances and a knockout conclusion!

One of Christopher Nolan's earliest works and perhaps first to a wide audience. It is an ambitious mind-bender. Coming in at around an 60 minute, it has pound-for-pound great entertainment value.

Everything about this movie is excellent - the story, screenplay, the way it was shot, background score, even the titles. This is Christopher Nolan's first movie and it gives you a preview of the various techniques he will continue to use in all of his movies.
