Follow That Bird (1985)

Big Bird is sent to live far from Sesame Street by a pesky social worker, who thinks it would be better for him to live with other birds. Unhappy, Big Bird runs away from his foster home, prompting the rest of the Sesame Street gang to go on a cross-country journey to find him.

I haven't seen this movie since it's theatre release in 1985. But it entertained my then 3 year old self very much! ^_^ And, if you haven't noticed, most movies Jim Henson put together get a high score in my book!

This was and still is one of my favorite movies. Where else are you going to find a movie with the Grouch National Anthem and Waylen Jennings singings a song that gives a good confidence boost (Ain't No Mountain). It's hilarious! Really you can never go wrong with a Jim Henson flick.

This is most likely the best movie ever made. This movie is the reason I want to be a director. Ken Kwapis did a amazing job of incorporating scenes for great films suchs as the flyby scene taken from Alfred Hitchcock's North By Northwest. This is The best kids film. There is nothing out there that comes close to beating it..

Beautiful movie. Sesame Street and the Muppets rule. How funny, tender, entertaining and educative they are! I loved the scene where they tributed the plane chasing from North by Nothwest.
