Brewster is an owlish, intellectual boy who lives in a fallout shelter of the Houston Astrodome. He has a dream: to take flight within the confines of the stadium. Brewster tells those he trusts of his dream, but displays a unique way of treating others who do not fit within his plans.

I know I love this more due to the fact that I saw it on laserdisc and it is tough to get a hold of...but with that said, Bud Cort is great and ALtman is a genius. This was his favorite movie that he made. He is missed.

Possibly the greatest and most quintessentially American film ever made. Works best if you are confused and think it is an 80's sex comedy before you watch it. Original title: "Brewster McCloud and his Sexy Flying Machine"
