Brewster is an owlish, intellectual boy who lives in a fallout shelter of the Houston Astrodome. He has a dream: to take flight within the confines of the stadium. Brewster tells those he trusts of his dream, but displays a unique way of treating others who do not fit within his plans.

I LOVE this film! The best of all those films that put "loss of innocence" as the center theme. Pacing, humor, cast - all perfect (for me!). Brewster McCloud and MASH are the two-top if you put Altman's works in the soccer formation.

What a crazy movie. A little slow at first but absurdly worth it if your a fan of the surreal social commentary type of thing.

this is altman. its cool because its about a dude who is trying to become a bird and fly out of a stadium he lives in. just like all of us.
