Its straightforward honesty is devastating, and it takes its place alongside The Killing Fields as one of the most important cinematic perspectives on the genocide to be made for international audiences.

The cinematography is beautiful, the production is excellent. The story is so sad based on the book written by the main character a victim and survivor of the Regime Khemer Rouge. Angelina Jolie movie tells the pain and misery of the war in Cambodia suffer by many but shown beautifully despite of the sorrow and sadness. There is no that many people daring to make movies like this in Hollywood.

Wow. First They Killed My Father is so beautiful, powerful and heartbreaking. A Masterpiece that is told through the eyes of a child. A rare film that stays true to the book and its culture.

Angelina Jolie is an accomplished filmaker. FTKMF is stunning, it is a powerful film. Great job , cast and crew, all cambodians actors and most of the technicians. This movie deserves all the praises and i hope it will be awarded when comes the award season.
