I Have Never Forgotten You: The Life & Legacy of Simon Wiesenthal (2007)

"I Have Never Forgotten You" is a comprehensive look at the life and legacy of Simon Wiesenthal, the famed Nazi hunter and humanitarian. Narrated by Academy Award winning actress Nicole Kidman, it features interviews with longtime Wiesenthal associates, government leaders from around the world, friends and family members--many of whom have never discussed the legendary Nazi hunter and humanitarian on camera. Previously unseen archival film and photos also highlight the film. What was the driving force behind his work? What kept him going when for years the odds were against his efforts? What is his legacy today, more than 60 years after the end of World War Two?

Serious documentary about one of the most important researchers of the 20th Century responsible for bringing major Nazi criminals to justice.

This documentary about Simon Wiesenthal's life is a real winner, paced beautifully and filmed with great sensitivity to the burden he bore throughout his life, with 6 million dead on his back, it is one of the most informative and touching documentaries around. Everyone should know what he contributed to this world in his lifetime, against all odds, really.

Had heard the name, but didn't know anything about him. Amazing that he dedicated his life to finding as many Nazis as he could, since his own life was sidetracked by the Holocaust. He and his wife lost 90 members of their families between them.

Lael Loewenstein 04 Jul 2007

The film successfully contextualizes [Wisenthal's] legacy for a new generation.

Ray Bennett 22 Apr 2007

Important documentary record of an extraordinary man.
