Falling Overnight (2011)

Falling Overnight tells the story of twenty-two year old Elliot Carson on the day before he has risky surgery to remove a brain tumor. Facing what could be his last night, Elliot's path intersects with Chloe Webb, a young photographer who invites him to her art show. Elliot welcomes the distraction and as the night descends, Chloe takes him on an intimate and exhilarating journey through the city. But as morning approaches, and Chloe learns of Elliot's condition, the magic of the evening unravels, and they must together face the uncertainty of Elliot's future.

Deeply moving and genuine - an instant favorite! It's like 'A Walk To Remember' meets 'Before Sunrise.' :)

I saw this film at the LA showing in the Downtown Independent. It absolutely blew me away. Parker Croft and Emilia Zoryan both performed amazingly. Their acting was raw and emotional. It really gave the film a realistic feel. A definite must see<3

It may be an acquired taste, but it's quite delectable. That was so cheesy, but I think the critics got it all wrong this time. It's so intimate and real to life that it's very slowly engrossing and fantastically indie. The characters are not even characters, they're real people with real lives and that alone is extremely underrated. They didn't need to be these outrageous personas, and that's the reason that it works. Wonderfully poignant, and quietly satisfying.

I thought this movie sounded interesting but I ended up not liking it much at all. It felt like there could be some kind great of story to this..but the acting is kind of awkward, and it didn't hold my interest that well.
