a all time classic were the old team return for there freinds

Plot Summary: The old age pensioners that left at the end of the first film come back to earth to visit their relatives... This is a sequel, and it's better than most sequels. However, most sequels don't hold up against the original film and this one's no exception. The same cast is back and the acting is certain up to par in this film, but the impact of the story isn't there. I believe this film would have done fairly well had it not been a sequel, but the magic was gone, sorta like the magic from the pool in the first film. The cast does a good acting job and they try, they really do, but this film just doesn't cut the mustard ya i said mustard LOL

Shockingly not too bad a Sequel, "Daniel Petrie" mocked my thoughts, to a lesser thought of believing a second would ruin the first one entirely, yet it still left an impression and mark on me. I enjoyed the idea and plot of the second Cocoon, However it was not the original "Cocoon". I think that the sequel could of just passed right on by. you know, sail away. Fly away real fast. What I didn't think was that it would be any good at all, but boy was I wrong. Yea,yea, okay I heard it already! This was a sucky sequel. Yes, I know the first was really, really good, and this might of been alot worse comapared to it, but for better or worse, it wasn't all that bad as they say. "Cocoon is one of those movies that can last entire generation, but 'Cocoon; The return is for lackthereof, a film the couldn't even survive the shadow of it's great predacessor,but still somehow found it's way out into the light." True Rating: PE Passable Entertainment

The most under-rated of all the Halloween sequels and in my opinion the best sequel of them all. It still falls into the gore hound trap that was started with all of the original Halloween imitators out there as a way to compensate the lack of suspense of the original. Donald Pleasance offers his gravitas to Dr. Loomis and grounds the entire production giving it the tie in to the original two movies. It is a shame they could not get Jamie Lee Curtis back for this chapter, but the character of Jamie Lloyd gives a new face to the victim and provides an ending that still, after all these years gives me chills to watch. It is a crying shame that they chickened out with further sequels to take the franchise in new directions laid out by this movies ending with two absolutely atrocious sequels after this one. As far as I am concerned out of the original Halloween 6 movie franchise there is the original, II and 4.
