Why does every movie producer feel the need to butcher a book. They gave you a perfect story and they mess it all up. Sorry was the first thing I noticed aka black friggin hair just to hard to get? So dumb. Another good book ruined by some idiot who can't direct. I see a future in this career just to fix the levels of failure

It left me completely frustrated when the end came and the credits appeared. I was totally shocked wondering if the writers hit a brick wall, so to speak, so they just ended the movie.

Despite its limitations, this is a pretty faithful adaptation of the book, which is what most viewers will be looking for. It lays the ground rules effectively for what may comes after.

This movie is a spectacular adoption of the novel. Even though it is with a Christian influence, it's creator was in a theology class when the concept was constructed. It is refreshing as a romance and is straightforward with its portrayal of all major and minor characters. The plot development is very similar to that of the novel, but it's modern narration as that of a wonderful provost of creation.
