based on my favourite author, ms. Sagan...

The Hollywood version of a lovely French book set in St.Tropez in the 1950s. The opening title sequence was my favourite bit for the bold 50s graphics! Read the book instead I say

A solid film in every way and good performances all around. It holds the viewer's attention during its length of 90 minutees but it's also a film easy to forget once it's over.

Script deficiencies and awkward reading -- some lines are spoken as though just that -- have static results.
