Factory Girl (2006)

In the mid-1960s, wealthy debutant Edie Sedgwick meets artist Andy Warhol. She joins Warhol's famous Factory and becomes his muse. Although she seems to have it all, Edie cannot have the love she craves from Andy, and she has an affair with a charismatic musician, who pushes her to seek independence from the artist and the milieu.

really really really good. not sure why it didn't get more press. it's about andy warhol and all his craziness.

This movie went straight to my Amazon WishList. Loved it! And Guy Pearce as Andy Warhol was incredible.

Spoilt, rich, posh, vacuous and fame-obsessed - who better to play Edie Sedgwick? If she's acting or not, Miller is brilliant. Just a shame the film is so shallow too.

"Your too beautiful to be an artist. I believe all artists should be ugly. No you are a superstar" {Andy Warhol to Edie Sedgwick} As well as the actor's uncanny resembles to the "Characters" i think that they also capture the heartbreak that both Andy and Edie endured through facial expression. which is a challenging thing to do. The movie wasnt in anyway trying to defend the honor of any of the characters as i think the intention was to show the exact true colours of the people. and I think in being real and not holding back on the grisly details this movie to me is an instant success. And I think all biopics should be this honest.
