Factory Girl (2014)

Hiyam, a young factory worker, lives in a lower-middle-class neighbourhood, along with her co-workers. She is clearly under the spell of Salah, the factory's new supervisor. Believing that love can transcend their class differences, Hiyam relentlessly pursues a dream of the pair being together. However, when a pregnancy test is discovered in the factory premises, her immediate family and close friends accuse her of sinning. Hiyam decides not to defend herself and pays an enormous price in a society that fails to accept her.

Why should we care about Edie Sedgwick? Factory Girl, fatally, can't find a reason.

I wanna be a part of the 60s. Hayden Christensen as Bob Dylan = SUPER HOT!

What a great artistic film about the legendary Andy Warhol and his famous muse Edie Sedgwick. Absolutely fantstic. A little vulgar in parts, but that's the reality of it!

One of the best movies to display the 60s, and of course Edie

Director George Hickenlooper incessantly switches between black-and-white, grained-out, color-saturated, handheld and fuzzy shots. He's not so much making a movie as an audition tape for the cameraman's guild.
