Although they changed things from the book it was an excellent adaptation and very well done.

Why is it some choose to rate a ehart felt movie so lowly. Take it for what it is - a boy loses his Dad for no reason he can comprehend and having Aspergers strruggles so deeply because logic dictates an answer, great movie, contrived, who gives a sh*t - let yourself feel the pain so many felt and end with a glimmer of hope for the future.

I loved this movie, it was a story that made me laugh and cry! Even though it was very unlikely, I still enjoyed it very much!
