One of the best movies of the year. Compelling without being didactic. Beautifully brutal cinematic sincerity. The characters are alive and elicit sympathy.

This film really blew me away - with the extremely gritty and realistic (at least to me) on the lives of the brazilian special ops police officers. A must watch film and in the same quality of city of god.
