The visuals are kinetic, the pacing frenetic; the violence, or at least its aftermath, doesn’t just border on the excessive, it makes major incursions. But given the criminal milieu at hand, nothing less would have seemed plausible, or equal to the heightened, sordid sensibility Mr. Johnson creates in the film’s opening moments and maintains right up to an ending that is among the more perverse in recent memory.

The strongest elements of this film, which adds nothing new to the subgenre, are its atmospheric, smeared-lipstick cinematography and Mr. Ferdinando’s portrayal of an arrogant, double-dealing crook.

Writer-director Gerard Johnson has a good eye and ear for sleaze and depravity, and I really do mean that as a compliment.

A London based film about crooked cops. It's been done before but this film is probably more brutal, disturbing and filthier than others before it. No one in this film is likeable, Michael Logan is the main character in this film and he has his moments but in the end, he is just another cunt of a human being, doing what he can to make sure he is never caught for his crimes. He gets involved with some Albanian gangsters and their human trafficking, tries to help a lady get out of their grasp. This film is well made and the acting is great. It's a filthy film and it definitely not one for a family viewing or date night. I really liked this movie.
