A documentary about Joyce Vincent, who lay dead on her sofa for three years before being found, is a searingly powerful examination of modern loneliness.

For all its subtext about identity and London's social fabric, Dreams of a Life leaves too many blanks and is ultimately more frustrating than rewarding.

Shocking that someone so young wasn't missed for years, she was wrapping Xmas gifts when she died yet no-one came looking for her!

Everyone I passed on my way home sprang into focus rather than moving past in an anonymous blur. How easy it is for even those we think we know to remain hidden. Moving and brilliant. Has stayed with me long after the credits rolled.

Beautiful story about a missing woman found dead in her flat after passing 3 years, prior. Unsolved case as to the cause of get demise and unlike her character based on accounts from friends about her cheerful and outgoing personality.
