When insects are the best thing in your movie, it’s probably time to retire.

Lumping this schlocky gore fest w/juicy tits into horror comedy is more than appropriate. Probably the campiest romp w/theatrical nuances I've ever seen...a B-movie with luscious boobs and buckets of gore and absurdly bad acting. As if that weren't enuff, a giant preying mantis is thrown in for more shits & giggles...Dario should do more silly stuff like this...it was just deliciously bad. Rutger Hauer suddenly showing up & then telling the girl, she shouldn't leave her door wide open is priceless. The CGI is like sesame street quality, God where does it end. Asia Argento is gorgeous as ever but her acting skills were flushed down the toilet with her last poopy...at least her boobs are amazing. Really loved this crap to death. Its like the Sharknado of Dracula movies! Do another one DARIO, the dumber the better!! Shud mention Rutger Hauer just showing up the way he did was just unfuckin unbelievably awesomely bad it wuz breathtakingly good

Argento's intention is actually a little unclear but in Dracula he has made a film that will undoubtedly find an audience, but the audience will almost certainly be one that enjoys to laugh at it rather than take it at all seriously.

Argento's reputation as a horror maestro is not enhanced with this flabby and flailing movie.

I don't know how to rate this. I don't know how to feel except lost and confused. Rutger Hauer appears to have found the last Quaalude on Earth and was on it for this film. I think he was paid with a bar tab. Asia Argento lopped 'em out for her dad... the director. Dracula, who is actually played by the guy who plays Van Helsing on TV's Dracula, turns into a CG praying mantis in this. That's right... A CG PRAYING MANTIS. There is so much digital f****ery that my brain feels like scrambled eggs. Am I keeping this Blu-ray 3D? Oh hell yes.
