One of the best films about World War 1. Gripping story and heartfelt ending.

I found this film to be lacking somewhat. Yes, the action scenes are awe inspiring. But the human drama in the middle is so flat that brings the overall picture down. Still, gotta give it up to Clara Bow for showing as much skin as she does in the Paris section. Pretty ballsy for 1927.

Now we know where Pearl Harbor got their plot from....

Happened to see this at the Paramount a few years back with a live stage orchestra. This is probably the preferred way to see the film. The battle scenes/aerial photography hold their replay even today. Also contains one of the first appearances of Gary Cooper.

I can't believe I forgot to rate this movie! I saw it a long time ago on TV, and I just loved it. I want to see it again, though, since I don't remember much of it.
