Libby Parsons, wrongly convicted of her husband Nick's murder, thinks he is still alive. She survives the long years in prison with two burning desires sustaining her -- finding her son and solving the mystery that destroyed her once-happy life. Standing between her and her quest, however, is her parole officer, Travis Lehman. Libby poses a challenge to the cynical officer, one that forces him to face up to his own failings while pitting him against his superior and law enforcement colleagues, as she plunges into a desperate fight for justice, survival, and revenge.

Ashley Judd rocks as usual in this cool thriller that keeps you engrossed til the end credits.

Very strong revenge thriller. Acting was great, especially from Ashley Judd. I love the way her character changes from proper woman to I-don't-give-a-fuck bitch! But Tommy Lee Jones and Bruce Greenwood were doing well too. The interesting thing is, what the title already says, double jeopardy. Can't be convicted for the same crime twice. I like the twist and the storyline is just very interesting and fascinating. I enjoyed every single minute of Double Jeopardy. And of course, the ending is very beautiful and touching.
