Stir Crazy (1980)

New Yorkers Skip Donahue and Harry Monroe have no jobs and no prospects, so they decide to flee the city and find work elsewhere, landing jobs wearing woodpecker costumes to promote the opening of a bank. When their feathery costumes are stolen and used in a bank robbery, they no longer have to worry about employment — they're sent to prison.

two guys who are charged for a crime they did'nt commit, gene wilder and his subtle assholeness and richard pryor(rip) with his over the top acting makes this moving one of the best comedic films of all time

Gene Wilder and Richard Prior at their best. Gene Wilders brilliant theme opens the film and Richard Priors one liners, and the acting by the whole cast keeps you entertained throughout.

Has me in kinks every time I see it. Pryor and Wilder are both comedy geniuses and this is the best of the films they made together.
