La película va muy lenta en muchas de sus partes haciendo que se vuelva un tanto tediosa, pero será una joya para los fans de "El resplandor"

Loved this film! It came as a suprise, with not much advertisement that I remember. I started with little high hopes but found myself enjoying the ride. It has a lot of new and old to offer here. If your a fan of its predecessors, I encourage you to give it a shot.

Even those familiar with King’s 2013 follow-up of the same name, more of an absorbing dark fantasy than a horror novel, won’t be prepared for the alchemy of elements cooked up here.

The scene where Danny and Abra are driving up to the Overlook hotel gave me feelings that I cannot describe. Pure excitement and terror at the same time.

Add "Stephen King's Doctor Sleep" -- the long-delayed sequel to "The Shining" -- to the list of movie and TV adaptations based on the author's work that shine at first, before flaming out down the stretch.
