Wimpy Greg Heffley, now in seventh grade, thinks he has it all together. He has mastered middle school and gotten rid of the Cheese Touch. Funny and entertaining for all ages. The critics can never give a movie like Diary of a Wimpy Kid a good review, because it would expose them as average, everyday people and not intellectually superior to the rest of us.

I loved the first and I love this one just as much, it's funny and a movie the whole family can enjoy, I've never read the books so I can't tell you if it's as good, but it still is highly enjoyable.

I got to admit it was better than the book. But however it was a lot different from the book witch ether saved this film or made it worst. I think it saved it. And worth renting if you asked me. Diary of a wimpy kid 2 RR 6.

You can't fault the filmmakers for reshaping a diary into a cohesive film. You can however, fault them for taking one of the great antiheroes in preteen literature and turning him into, well, an even wimpier kid.

Far better then the original. The cheesy family friendly comedy in this sequel is refreshing and borderline shocking. A huge step up in family film! It's about as good as it is going to get and I don't understand why other reviewers aren't understanding this.
