It's summertime, and Greg Heffley is looking forward to playing video games and spending time with his friends. However, Greg's dad has other plans: He's decided that some father-son bonding time is in order. My son loves it. I love the story lines and how they help build confidence in young teens.

Reluctantly better than the first and the second one. Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Dog Days is tweenish, yes, but I found myself laughing out loud throughout the movie. I actually cried at the beginning because I was so excited and have been waiting for this movie for quite some time now. I almost cried at the end because I was so happy for Greg. Mixing comedy and family entertainment, Dog Days is happily merry and luckily better.
