Awesome horror movie, but ive always felt that the title is misleading, Dracula is a vampire, he drinks blood, but the countess doesnt drink the blood and shes not a vampire at all, shes a human.

Hammer Films, produced some of the best old school horror movies.

Ingrid Pitt in a silly film for a change. Not one of the better Hammer efforts: not enough humour.

being a huge fan of the story of Elizabeth Bathory, to not only see the story (very loosely) told on screen but to have it be a Hammer production starring the great Ingrid Pitt was a real treat. could've been pulpier, considering its subject matter, but the overall direction is quite respectable.
