Chronically agoraphobic since the day his wife was murdered, Tommy Cowley finds himself terrorized by a gang of syringe-wielding feral children, who are intent on taking his baby daughter. Citadel narrative is extremely weak and dreadfully derivative.

Was very decent but unfortunately let down the horror side by adding too much drama. A good watch none-the-less :)

Ca faisait longtemps qu'un film m'avait pas foutu la trouille. Car ici, c'est toute l'atmosphÃ¨re fantastique psychologique qui tape lÃ ou ca fait mal! Pour un premier film c'est maÃ (R)trise de bout en bout. Un rÃ (C)gal!

The more that fright-flick conventions take over, the more the movie's recognizable and resonant human fears are dulled.

Citadel is ok. Not great, but not really that bad either. Tommy develops agoraphobia after his pregnant wife is attacked by a gang of feral kids in hoodies. His wife dies and he is left alone to raise his child. Soon the child is kidnapped by the same gang and he must overcome his fears to get him back. Some great character development here, but it just doesn't work overall. The priest is so over-the-top that he isn't believable, but Tommy is very well done, as is his nurse.
