Although it was frequently difficult to clearly hear the dialogue, we stuck with this because there were fascinating historical post WWII benchmarks, and Noomi Rapace is such an EXTRAORDINARY actress. In fact, everyone was great, but the best part of the movie is that it kept getting stronger and stronger. The last 40 minutes takes you on a roller coaster of emotions. Terrific.

Very good movie. Gripping plot and it shows the despair in communist Russia back into he 50's.

Perhaps if you read the book you may have understood and enjoyed. It did lack the intensity of the book, however it was a good visual portrayal of the book.

What a refreshment in the age of blockbusters and animated movies....yes, for this movie one should be older than 13 and should be concentrated a lil' longer than usual 5 seconds...Tom Hardy is excellent while Naomi is a perfect choice for the role of Raisa....
