It only gets the 1 star because I like some of the cast. It is an awful movie.

There is no purpose to the movie. The movie is obviously trying to pay homage to Quentin Tarantino, or just plainly ripping him off. At the end of this movie people will be going to themselves... Wha? Three people I really enjoy are in this. Bruce Willis is, um, interesting, in his role, but watching him I was wondering how much he sold himself for for this role. Shea Whigham, from Boardwalk Empire, is good in a throwaway role. Then there is Forrest Whitaker, the ONLY saving grace of this film. He is great as a character that would have been laughable in anyone else's hands. Malin Ackerman is WOEFULLY miscast in this movie.

Very average tale of a drug dealing king pin... Bruce Willis in one of his smaller recent roles and the reliable Whitaker & Akerman. All been seen and done before, but this was well made and it was a good turn from all 3 of the main stars which helped to make it more watchable.
