One of Tom Hank's best performances and the rest of the cast is just as superb! A great story with lovely dialogue and perfect directing. One of the finest movies I've seen to date. Many will disagree with me, and that's fine. You either love this movie or hate it.

I can't really see why this one is hated so much. I found it to be quite humorous.

Not only have they (Coen Brothers) stripped it of all its wit and charm, they've loaded it down with the kind of race-baiting and bathroom humor they've always avoided in the past.

Pious, earnest, and broadly drawn, Marva is the first black character in a Coen brothers movie to occupy center stage. For a minute, anyway.
