ha honestly who doesnt love the coens? weird characters and a weirder story..who else could do it?

This was a really funny, yet dark comedy. The movie has a very simple premise but is always entertaining. Tom Hanks is really cool and a very odd character. My next favorite was probably Wayans character and of course the General haha. Perhaps this movie got hammered more because it was a remake, but I liked it. Definitely not the Coen Bros. best but a whole lot better than every other comedy coming out.

Not only have they (Coen Brothers) stripped it of all its wit and charm, they've loaded it down with the kind of race-baiting and bathroom humor they've always avoided in the past.
