Complete ridiculousness, and totally insane. But I think its funny as hell

There's no doubt "Butter" should be saltier, its resemblance to anything political constrained to the slickness of a campaign commercial, proving Smith to be a solid, if unspectacular maker of studio-grade comedies.

Fun movie! Had a mockumentary feel but also added some heartfelt emotion. I definitely got into the story and enjoyed the satire and humor, as well.

This was a surprisingly really funny film. Yara Shahidi was really good in the lead and Rob Corddry was very nice as her foster father. Meanwhile, the rest of the cast, including Jennifer Garner, Ty Burrell, Ashley Greene, Olivia Wilde, Hugh Jackman, Alicia Silverstone, and Kristen Schaal were really goofy, funny. The film suffers occasionally by some over-the-top antics, but overall the film was very funny. The main story of the young girl finally finding a home and the other story of the man coming to grips with his changing life are the best of the film. Jennifer Garner's story was the least interesting, but add a little needed darkness to the film.
