I can only remember a doll and leaches :S .. i saw it when i was about 9

I think I actually got dumber watching this movie. The aliens took over people's bodies by attacking their spines from the back...but no one ever thinks to wear a piece of metal or something over their back... The first 5 minutes were pretty good, but it was a total poop fest after that in terms of dialog and plot.

It starts out smart and ends deadheaded then a broken doornail. Lacking plot mixed with boring suspense, it tried too hard. But Sutherland and the directing is decent.

Enjoyable sci-fi, even though it has kind of the sample plot as "Invasion of the Body Snatchers".

Entertaining is the thing to remember with this movie and if you dig this kind of alien taking over the world quietly type of game then this should be a crowd pleaser. No, it is not perfect by any means and is probably a little outdated, oh well, still not bad.
