One of the few I wasn't crazy about (after all it is Clint)

Bronco Billy McCoy is the proud owner of a small traveling Wild West show. But the business isn't doing too well: since six months he couldn't pay his employees. At a gas station he picks up Antoinette, a stuck-up blonde from a rich family, who was left there by her husband in the wedding night without a penny. Bronco likes her looks and hires her as his assistant. But she seems to bring them bad luck: the business gets even worse. In these hard times she looses her reluctance and starts to like her new way of life... and Bronco Billy. stars Clint Eastwood, Sondra Locke, Geoffrey Lewis, Scatman Crothers, Bill McKinney, Sam Bottoms, Dan Vadis, Sierra Pecheur and Walter Barnes. directed by Clint Eastwood.

Eastwood dressed as a cowboy doesn't work unless it's actually in a cowboy film. Sondra Locke is as rubbish as ever.

One of Clint's most good natured yet entertaining movies to date. ITs tremendously fun and filled with heart and excitement. Eastwood crafts one of his most heart warming yet wonderfully compelling characters and storylines to date.

Call it a companion piece to "Unforgiven." Both deal with Western mythology; in one Eastwood gives it a playful noogie, in the other he drives a stake into its heart.
