the fact that he talked to the camera and what was happening around him and he still was thinking about girls just funny

A bit saccharine for my tastes and when I say that I mean BLAND.

At times touching, at times funny. But overall, nothing terribly special. Some roles are miscast (especially Jonathan Silverman, who was way too old to play Eugene), but overall an adequate film adaptation.

I don't really have anything positive to say about this movie, so I will just leave it at that.
