A entertaining British film set in Brighton (my home town) a good tale of crime and murder a good story,would recommend if you like the book..I wasn't too sure when my girlfriend picked it but I have to admit I liked the story,it wasn't a long film but with all British cast it was a good choice lol

It's all over the place story wise but the filmmaker's have recreated the look and atmosphere of 60's era Brighton very well. Helen Mirren is superb as always.

An OK film - although well played none of the characters have any appeal and it is difficult to care about them. Rose needed to be a stronger presence.
