Don't expect to see one of Scorsese's signature personal mob stories in this odd movie. It's fun, and there's some cool camera shots at the end, but it's a little goofy.

It's raw, it's gritty, it's country-fried, and it's delicious. You've got David Carradine, you've got him stealing and running from the law, and you've got an incredible death scene at the end. Yes.

A good film from a young Scorsese. Some rough patches to smooth out, but entertaining at some points. It also end quite strong.

Personally, I loved this film. Great performances and direction from a young Martin Scorsese. A simple story, made on a low budget, but a nice insight into hobo life in 1930s America - with a heart-stopping ending.
