ACGI, while not imprA very cute film, if I had kids I wouldn't be upset if I had to watch it multiple times. It reminds me enough of the book (though even that I barely remember) that it gave me the fuzzies. The CGI, while not impressive by any means, has qualities that reminds me of a oil painting, which really helped blend the characters in with the background. The characters are all likable, I walked out really enjoying most of them, although they were all a little flat...but once again, I didn't really walk into this with high expectations that they would be fully developed characters.essive by any means, has qualities that reminds me of a oil painting. I watched The Boxcar Children with two of my grandchildren (ages 6 and 8) and we all loved the movie. I am hoping this will inspire them to read the books.
